Why can't I pair my license with PescaREC?
After your license is issued, it usually takes around 24 hours for the data to be updated in the Spanish authorities' system. Once the data has synced, you can pair your license with the PescaREC app. If pairing fails immediately after receiving the license, simply try again the next day.
Is the license valid in all of Spain?
Yes. Our sea fishing licenses are issued by the Balearic Islands (Govern de les Illes Balears) and are valid along the entire Spanish coastline, including the Canary Islands. This is standard in Spain — a coastal fishing license from any region covers all Spanish waters. Freshwater licenses are typically valid only in the issuing autonomous community.
